Limp Bizkit is an American Rap Rock, or Nu-Metal, band from Jacksonville, Florida. They where founded in 1994 and since then, have made a name for themselves through their aggressive take on nu-metal music.
My brother was my introduction to this band, as he would listen to them, amoungst other bands, whenever he would drive me around from place to place. This shaped my taste in music, and is what made me like them. I enjoy the combination of rap and metal through their songs, as I enjoy the beat and rythm of rap, but the heavy fealing of metal. They are a decently old band, being almost 30 years old at this point, but as of last year, they released a new album.
